Ogilvie Fleet staff from Sheffield and Stirling have recently completed an epic fundraising challenge in support of the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
The Sheffield team virtually cycled to Scotland on a static bike in the office, with the Stirling team making the return journey a week later. Each leg was 271 miles, a 542 mile total, but both teams decided to carry on cycling when the target was hit – covering an incredible 731 miles.
Ogilvie Fleet have kindly donated £1 for every mile covered, creating a total of almost £2,200 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association. MNDA raises money to support those suffering with the disease, as well as to fund vital research into finding a cure.
A huge congratulations to everyone who cycled and donated, with a special mention to Amy O’Connor and Janette Paxton who organised the event in their respective offices.
