Ogilvie Fleet has launched its second round of company vehicle renewals for employees of Redde Northgate plc, with a reworked policy utilising Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV) and fully Electric Vehicles (EV) only.
Ogilvie Fleet, the UK’s leading independent leasing company has been working with Redde Northgate plc, the UK’s leading integrated mobility solutions platform for over three years, managing and supplying the company car fleet to the rental and mobility giant.
This new focus on low and zero-emission vehicles is an important step towards Redde Northgate achieving its ESG goals, and Ogilvie Fleet’s support on their updated company car policy will drive the decarbonisation of Redde Northgate’s company car fleet.
The company car scheme benefits from being set up using Ogilvie Fleet‘s powerful True Cost calculation software, which has allowed for whole life cost comparisons between vehicle types to be made by Redde Northgate. With the additional aid of Ogilvie’s lead time generation software, customer service teams can more accurately forecast vehicle delivery times during a period of unpredictable lead times.
Tim Bailey, Fleet Director at Redde Northgate plc said:
“This refreshed company car policy is a way to encourage our company car drivers to be part of our Drive to Zero, our journey towards total fleet decarbonisation. Working with the team at Ogilvie, we’ve been able to establish vehicle grades based on Ogilvie True Cost calculations, and that enables us to do two things; firstly, provide clarity to the business that EVs don’t cost more to include on a fleet; and secondly, while limiting our drivers to plug-in cars only, we have been able to offer a better choice overall.
“This approach is supported by the ever-growing team at Charged EV, part of the Redde Northgate Group, which will install the necessary charging infrastructure at colleagues’ homes. In helping to minimise our impact on the environment via the provision of emissions-free motoring to colleagues, Redde Northgate is proud to continue our journey towards net zero.” Added Bailey.
Nick Hardy, Sales and Marketing Director at Ogilvie Fleet said:
“We’re absolutely thrilled to extend our relationship with Redde Northgate and continue to be their partner of choice for the foreseeable future. Working with them to reduce their carbon emissions and help them on their road to net zero also fits well with our own strategy and is further cemented with their decision to also take our MiSalarySacrifice product as a new employee benefit.
We’ve always been proud to have been chosen as their key supplier and have built a great working relationship between our respective teams. Indeed, it’s that real team effort supported by fantastic people at both Redde Northgate and Ogilvie that make this relationship so strong and successful”.
