Since 2017, Ogilvie Fleet has decided not to send Christmas gifts and cards to our stakeholders, but instead support charities as chosen by Ogilvie employees. We hope all our clients, suppliers and partners agree that this is even more critical given the difficult year 2020 has been.
Each week before Christmas we will be featuring one of our chosen charities and the first of these is the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
MND Association focuses on improving access to care, research and campaigning for those people living with or affected by MND in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
The charity aims to raise £20million every year to fund the care and research of this devastating disease. Ogilvie Fleet also supported MND Association last year and our donation contributed towards some of the incredible work they do, including:
– The care of almost 4,000 people living with the disease across 22 UK care centres
– £1.2million of support grants to 1,718 people
– 392 home visitors who provide one-to-one support
You can read more about MND Association in its latest Impact Report, including how it uses funds to improve the lives of those with the disease and its world leading research projects.
