Ogilvie Fleet is delighted to announce our Christmas charities for 2022. For the fifth year in a row, we have chosen to support charities selected by our team, in lieu of sending Christmas gifts. This year, we will be donating to 3 incredible charities:
The MND Association focuses on improving access to care, research and campaigning for those people living with or affected by Motor Neurone Disease in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Launched in 2017, the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation was set up with a simple vision; to create a world free of MND. The foundation was formed by Scottish rugby legend Doddie Weir, who sadly lost his battle with the disease earlier this year.
Young Minds is the UK’s leading charity fighting for children and young people’s mental health.
The charity is one of 8 organisations campaigning for better mental health in the UK as part of the Heads Together collaborative, supported by The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
Young Minds aims to see a world where no young person feels alone with their mental health, and all young people get the mental health support they need, when they need it, no matter what.
Our offices have also been supporting local charities, with our Stirling Head Office supporting the Stirling Observer’s ‘Give a Gift’ appeal. Our generous staff members have donated a huge collection of toys, which will be donated to local disabled, needy and disadvantaged children and young people aged from newborn babies right up to teenagers.
Meanwhile, our Sheffield office collected donations of food and money to support the S6 foodbank, which helps local families in crisis with supplies of food, toiletries and essential products.
A huge thank you to our generous #TeamOgilvie members for their continued support this Christmas.
We would like to wish all our customers, suppliers and staff members a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
