Ogilvie Fleet, and the wider Ogilvie Group, is making efforts to reduce carbon emissions and environmental impact with a target of becoming Net Zero by 2040.
Take a look at our road map below to see the steps we have taken so far and plans for the future.
We began our efforts back in the nineties when we launched our ‘Project 2000’ waste reduction programme of simple everyday improvements. We removed general waste bins from all areas of the office except kitchen areas and asked colleagues to sort and recycle their waste at dedicated points across the building.
Fast forward to today and we have installed energy management systems in our buildings, upgraded to energy efficient IT equipment and planted a quarter of a million trees.
As we look to the future, our own fleet of vehicles is rapidly moving towards fully electric, we’ve supported customers in their own transition and we’re investigating the possibility of installing solar panels at all our offices.
