Ogilvie Fleet breaks its own record for high scoring in the Best Companies to Work for survey 2022

Ogilvie Fleet has once again proved itself to be a winner with its employees in the 2022 Best Companies to Work For survey, enjoying its highest score to date.
Retaining its two-star rating and its position as Britain’s best leasing company to work for, Ogilvie Fleet has also been recognised as:
- a top five best Business-Services company to work for
- a top 10 best company to work for in Scotland
- a top 10 best company to work for in Yorkshire
- a top 50 best medium-sized company to work for
With staff having awarded the UK’s leading independent leasing company a score of 718.1, Ogilvie has also improved by 3% since it first achieved these results in 2020.
The last 12 months has seen a huge improvement for Ogilvie from its already strong position. It has climbed from 31st best company to work for in Scotland to 10th place within a year, and 29th best company to work for Yorkshire 2021, to 9th place in 2022.
“To have achieved this level of recognition from our employees is something of which we are rightfully proud,” said Gordon Stephen, Ogilvie Fleet’s MD.
“To have climbed the rankings so fast in Yorkshire and Scotland, while maintaining our position as the best leasing company to work for overall is a great testament to our company ethos. We have a focus on making sure Ogilvie Fleet remains an attractive proposition for existing employees and for attracting new talent to the business,” he added
Feedback from the awards is that Ogilvie Fleet’s senior management lead by example on a daily basis and that, thanks to an open-door policy, are approachable by all staff. As a result of many managers choosing to sit amongst their reports, rather than in separate offices, all employees feel that they are of equal value to the company.
Importantly, employees commented that the regular all-company updates on how the business is performing overall, detailing successes and areas earmarked for improvement allows everyone to feel equally informed on the state of the business, which gives a sense of agency for all, no matter at which level within the company.
