Ogilvie Fleet was proud to have been named a finalist in the category of Leasing Company of the Year (under 20,000 vehicles) at the 2023 Fleet News Awards.
In a hotly contested category, which received a record number of entries, Ogilvie Fleet was selected as a finalist in the category of Leasing Company of the Year, beating multiple companies to be named among just four other leasing companies as a contender for award.
Often considered the fleet industry’s most prestigious awards event, held at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel, the Fleet News Awards is attended by over 1200 guests. With the judging panel made up of a selection of leading journalists and fleet professionals, it is an achievement for any company to be named as a finalist, but all the more so for an independent operator such as Ogilvie.
A big night overall for Ogilvie, it was equally delighted to be the title sponsor of the ‘Cars’ categories of the awards, sponsoring six separate awards that included ‘Best Medium Car’ ‘Best Compact / Best Mid-Sized SUV’ ‘Best Premium / Best Executive Car’ and the ‘Driver’s Choice’ award.”
A major client of Ogilvie Fleet, Thomas Hardie Commercials was also named as a double finalist in the category of Environmental Fleet of the Year and Fleet of the Year (under 250 vehicles). While the overall award for Environmental Fleet ended up going to OVO Energy (a green power specialist), for a commercial vehicle supplier to be named in this category shows the great credentials that Thomas Hardie has in this area.
Nick Hardy, Sales and Marketing Director of Ogilvie Fleet commented: “To have been named as a finalist in the most highly-contested category of an awards ceremony which has received record numbers of entries is a huge achievement. We congratulate the winners on the night and look forward to the other awards ceremonies still to come this year.”
Ogilvie recently celebrated a double award win at the Business Motoring Awards, taking top spot in both Best Company Car Programme and Best Leasing Company 2023.
