The Office for Zero Emission Vehicles has published some myth-busting guidance on common misconceptions about electric vehicles, ahead of the 2030 deadline on the ban of the sale of new petrol and diesel cars and vans.
The topics cover cost, range, battery usage & sustainability and general electric vehicle usage.
As the number of battery powered vehicles continues to rise, the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles is a team working across government to support the transition to zero emission vehicles, promoting the take-up of EVs as well funding for charging infrastructure.
You can read the document on the government’s web pages here.
Further information and support on the transition to electric can be found in our electric vehicle owners guide.
You can also find and compare all currently available EVs on our industry-first EV database.
