We're delighted to announce that we have won another award, this time it comes from FleetEye and is our fifth award in the last five years.

This year we have been recognised for our customer innovation, the award builds on our unprecedented quartet of customer service awards won in the last four years thus further underlining our leadership of the UK contract hire and leasing industry in putting our clients first. The award was presented to Ogilvie Fleet Sales and Marketing director Nick Hardy by Rick Yarrow, Experteye’s managing director, in recognition of its innovative approach to the measurement and deployment of customer satisfaction initiatives.

We are one of many contract hire and fleet management companies to use the feedback from Experteye’s Fleeteye CSI survey for ongoing service initiatives and one of its most recent initiatives saw implementation of the Touchpoint driver feedback programme. The award for customer innovation is in response to the very high level of engagement of our customers in the survey, the significant number of service advancements made as a result of client feedback and the excellent customer satisfaction levels achieved.

Gordon Stephen, managing director of Ogilvie Fleet, said: “Ogilvie Fleet’s industry-leading reputation for looking after its customers is the basis for how we continue to expand our client portfolio and continue to be hugely successful in a tough market. Our fifth consecutive Experteye award is testimony to the fact that no UK-based contract hire and leasing company does it better than Ogilvie Fleet.”

Gordon Stephen, Ogilvie Fleet, Managing Director

Our expansion plans are accelerating, so far in 2015 we've appointed three people to our Sales team and today we can announce that we've secured a £100m finance package from HSBC.

The deal is one of the largest funding arrangements of it's time and will enable us to potentially double in size over the next 5 years. Following on from last weeks announcement about our latest awards win, it's proving to be quite a successful start to 2015.

Gordon Stephen, managing director here at Ogilvie Ogilvie Fleet, said “We are an ambitious business, looking to grow and create jobs. In recent times we have seen an increase in our customer base, invested in technology and devised a prudent disposal strategy, all of which is helping us reach our long-term goals.

“This is a very exciting time for our business and I am pleased to be partnering with HSBC. It is the largest and strongest bank in the UK and the fact that HSBC wants to do business with Ogilvie Fleet speaks volumes for their view of our position in the marketplace.”

2015 is going to be a busy year here at Ogilvie. We're just 3 months into the year and have three new starters targeting 3 new areas of business for us to expand into. Our latest recruit is Richard Jessop as Head of Salary Sacrifice and follows the recent announcement of a major new £100 million funding facility with HSBC.

Historically we've concentrated on contract hire fleets of approximately 100 vehicles but following the appointment of Darren Hill, David Raponi and Richard Jessop together with our latest funding facility i'm sure it's plain to see that 2015 is going to be a good year.
